About this area
Skin and hair concerns are visible, and they can affect confidence as much as comfort. Patches that keep coming back, persistent acne or noticeable hair fall are often influenced by several things at once: diet, digestion, sleep, stress, the season and the products you use.
Here we explain how skin and hair concerns are approached at Dr. Dogra Ayurveda, and how a plan is shaped around the person rather than the label.
The Ayurvedic view
Ayurveda often treats the skin as a reflection of inner balance, giving attention to digestion, to the qualities of Pitta (heat) and to daily routine. That is why a skin consultation may include questions that seem unrelated at first, about meals, sleep or stress.

Yes. A video consultation in good daylight lets Dr. Varun see the skin or scalp. Some concerns may still need an in-person visit, and you will be told if so.
Skin and hair change slowly and every person responds differently, so no fixed timeline can be promised. Progress is reviewed together at follow-up.
In Ayurvedic practice, diet and digestion are routinely considered for skin and hair concerns. Any guidance you receive is personal to you.
