What is an Ayurvedic consultation?
An Ayurvedic consultation is an unhurried conversation about you: the concern that brings you in, how long it has been present, your health history, the medicines you take, and the way you eat, sleep, work and rest.

Ayurveda looks at a health concern in the context of the whole person. During the consultation Dr. Varun Dogra may use traditional methods of assessment, such as pulse examination (Nadi Pariksha) and an understanding of your constitution (Prakriti), and he explains these Ayurvedic concepts in simple words.

Quick answers
Ayurvedic Consultation: questions
What happens during an Ayurvedic consultation?
Dr. Varun Dogra listens to your concerns and asks about your health history, current medicines and daily routine. He may use traditional Ayurvedic methods of assessment and then explains an individual approach, where one is appropriate. You are welcome to ask questions throughout.
Can I consult online?
Yes. Video and audio consultations are available for people who cannot visit Phagwara or Jalandhar. Tap Video or Audio consultation and a WhatsApp message opens; the clinic replies with a time. Some concerns may still need an in-person visit.
What should I bring to my consultation?
Recent reports and prescriptions, a list of all medicines and supplements you take, and a short note of your main concerns. For an online consultation, keep photos or scans of your reports ready to share.
Can Ayurveda be used alongside conventional medical care?
Many people consult for Ayurveda alongside conventional care. Tell Dr. Varun about every medicine you take, and do not stop or change any prescribed medicine without speaking to the doctor who prescribed it.
Is Ayurvedic care personalized?
Yes. Recommendations depend on the individual assessment, so two people with a similar concern may receive different guidance.
How long does Ayurvedic treatment take?
It varies by person and by concern. Dr. Varun will explain what to expect in your situation and review progress at follow-up visits.
