About Dr. Varun

A physician carrying a family's work forward.

Born in 1981, Dr. Varun Dogra represents the third generation of the Dogra family's Ayurvedic tradition, which began with his grandfather, Vaid Kaviraj Pt. Amarnath Dogra, and continued with his father, Vaid Dr. Virender Kumar Dogra.

He completed his Ayurvedic degree, B.A.M.S (Pb.), at Dayananda Ayurvedic College, Jalandhar, in 2006 and his P.G.D.M in Delhi in 2010. His professional journey went on through Pure Biotech Private Limited (2010) and Kaya Kalp Pharma (2016), where he is Managing Director.

Today he sees patients at the family's clinics in Phagwara and Jalandhar, and by video and audio consultation, through personalized consultation, traditional Ayurvedic approaches, therapies, formulations and diet and lifestyle guidance.

Ayurvedic eye-care heritage

Where the family's work began.

Pt. Amarnath Dogra trained in Lahore and built an eye-care practice; in 1947 he founded the Dogra Ayurvedic Eye Hospital in Jalandhar. That heritage still shapes the family's practice, which today cares for a broad range of health concerns.
