About this area

An overview

Many men put off talking about reproductive, urinary or sexual health, sometimes for years. These are common concerns, and they deserve an unhurried, respectful conversation without embarrassment.

This page explains how men’s health concerns are approached through Ayurvedic consultation at our Phagwara and Jalandhar clinics, or by video or audio call. Care is individual and works alongside your doctor or urologist where needed.

The Ayurvedic view

Ayurveda sees reproductive and urinary health as connected with overall strength, digestion, sleep and peace of mind. A consultation therefore looks at the whole picture: work stress, sleep, diet, activity and long-term conditions such as diabetes or high blood pressure.

Questions

Frequently asked

Can I consult by audio call?

Yes. Audio and video consultations are available, and talking from home can be an easier first step. Dr. Varun may suggest a clinic visit or tests if they are needed.

Do I also need to see a urologist?

For urinary and prostate-related concerns, a medical evaluation is important. Ayurvedic care can be discussed alongside it, and Dr. Varun may recommend tests or a specialist review.

I feel hesitant to talk about this. Is that common?

Very. Many men wait a long time before asking. The consultation is unhurried, and you can share as much or as little as you are comfortable with at first.

Can I continue my current medicines?

Please do not stop or change any prescribed medicine on your own. Share everything you take at the consultation, and discuss any change with the doctor who prescribed it.
